Gallatin Valley Land Trust-Drinking Horse

$14.00$65.00

Many of us in our area are familiar with the Gallatin Valley Land Trust. For those who are not, here is a little history.  GVLT was founded in 1990 by Chris Boyd.  Chris saw the Gallatin Valley growing and changing and wanted to find ways to help preserve open spaces for future generations to use.  GVLT has worked over the last 25 years creating land easements and developing many the walking trails in and around town.  They have conserved 67 square miles of  land and have helped develop over 80 miles of trails.

Ghost Town Coffee has been a supporter of GVLT since we started our business.  All proceeds from the sale of this coffee goes directly to GVLT and their conservation efforts.  We are fortunate that our cafe and production facility happens to be adjacent to one of the many GVLT trails.  Our shop dogs are very grateful for this fact as well.

Thank you GVLT for making the Gallatin Valley a nicer place to live and thank you for purchasing this coffee to help them continue their conservation efforts.

Here is GVLT’s Mission Statement:

Gallatin Valley Land Trust connects people, communities, and open lands through conservation of working farms and ranches, healthy rivers, and wildlife habitat, and the creation of trails in the Montana headwaters of the Missouri and Upper Yellowstone Rivers.
