El Salvador La Esperanza-El Cascajal

$15.50$73.65

We have known Maria Pacas and her family for many years. Coffee farming in their family goes back for many generations. We are pleased to be working directly with their farm once again. Their farm is in the Santa Ana region in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountain range. La Esperanza & El Cascajal are two fincas (farms) on their property.

The coffee is a micro lot, with limited availability of the Pacamara variety. Pacamara was first discovered in El Salvador from a natural hybrid cross of  Maragogipe and Pacas. The Pacas variety was named after the Pacas family when it was discovered on their farm in 1949. Pacamara has a larger than average size bean.

Tasting Notes: Tobacco, dark chocolate, caramel, cranberry, sage, spicy goodness

Elevation: 3608-5577 ft   Variety: Pacamara
