Specter Espresso

$21.90$105.00

This Specter is not to be feared. As seasonal coffees arrive, we’re always testing, sampling and dialing them in. We find fresh crop, seasonal coffees that please when pulled as an espresso. While our other espresso’s aim for consistency, this espresso is ever changing.

This is a friendly apparition.  This is the result of QC gone right.

Current Variety: Ethiopia Yirgacheffe-Wuri Natural

“Wuri” is the Gedio word for “high altitude.” Altitude is considered to be one of the greatest indicators of quality and flavor of coffee. A higher altitude coffee shrub works hard to give nutrients to its beloved fruit, resulting in a complexity and nuance rarely found at lower elevations. Sixteen villages make up the Gedeb district where this coffee comes from. Since 2017, the Ethiopian government has relaxed regulations on export to allow individual washing stations to export their coffee. This has resulted in excellent transparency and traceability. The natural processing of this coffee lends deep, sweet, jammy flavors to the cup.
Elevation: 6810 feet
Process: Natural, Dried on raised beds for 18-21 days
Variety: Heirloom Typica
Notes: Blueberry cobbler, jam, lavender
